It is a useful event people will be glad we are holding; it enables them to eliminate clutter, free up space, and eliminate the risk of untimely spills or leaks.
The paint collected gets recycled back into the community as graffiti cover-up paint, Habitat for Humanity Restore paint, school program paint and many other uses.
Our environment benefits from saving the earth from unnecessary paint in our landfills.
People are more likely to recycle their latex paint if it is fast, easy and convenient.
Latex paint is a non regulated household item by the EPA and Michigan DNRE. Therefore, no special permits are necessary to hold an event. The event is for households only and business waste is not allowed. Collected cans will remain in their original labeled container.
