Where To Use

Previously painted or primed interior surfaces. Ideal for Kitchens, Bathrooms, Doors, Cabinets, Hallways, Windows, Trim, Interior Furniture and Ceilings. Patch all voids with appropriate patching or caulking material. Wash, rinse, scrape, sand and clean the surface to remove any dirt, chalk, mildew, grease, oil, wax, loose paint or any other foreign matter. Scuff sand glossy surfaces. Remove dust with damp rag, allow to dry.

PREP & PRIMING

BLOCK: (Prime with appropriate primer)

Allow new block to cure before application of primer and topcoats. Remove loose mortor and patch all voids with appropriate caulking or patching material. Clean surface to remove mildew, efflorescence, grease, oil, wax or other foreign matter.

 CONCRETE: (Prime with appropriate primer)

Allow new concrete to cure 60 days before application of primer and topcoats. Patch all voids with appropriate caulking or patching material. Power wash all poured in place and tilt-up concrete to remove any bond-breakers like form release agents. Clean the surface to remove any mildew, efflorescence, grease, oil, wax or any other construction residue.

 

STUCCO: (Prime with appropriate primer)

Allow new stucco to cure before application of primer and topcoats. Patch all voids with appropriate patching compound or caulk. Clean the surface to remove mildew, efflorescence, grease, oil, wax or any other foreign matter. Best results are obtained when product is back-rolled when applied to substrate.

 

METAL: (Prime with appropriate primer, self primer or galvanized)

Apply finish to previously primed or painted metal with no visable rust. Power tool clean, scrape and sand the surface to remove any rust. dirt, mill scale, oil, grease, loose shop primer or any other foreign material.

 

WOOD: (Prime with appropriate primer)

Patch all voids with appropriate caulk or patching material. Clean the surface to remove any mildew, dirt, grease, oil, wax or other foreign matter.

APPLICATION

  • Use the product when surface and air temperatures are between 50-90 degrees F.

  • Temperature should be at 5 degrees above dew point and above 48 degrees F for 4 hours minimum after application.

  • Stir paint occasionally. Intermix colors of the same product to ensure sheen and color uniformity.

  • Coverage is 250 to 400 sq. ft. per gallon depending on surface porosity and application method.

  • Product intended for use at packages consistency. If thinning is desired, do not thin more than 1/2 pint per gallon.

  • Use a high quality nylon/polyester brush or a 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch nap roller cover. If airless spraying use .015 to .019 spray tip. Do not thin more than 1/2 pint per gallon.

  • Certain colors may require more than one coat for complete hide.

 

DRYTIME

  • To touch 30 to 60 minutes.

  • To re-coat 5 to 6 hours.

  • Lower temperatures, humidity, thicker film or improper ventilation will increase these times. The model temperature is 77 degrees F and 50% relative humidity.

 

CLEAN UP

  • Use soap and water.

  • Protect unused portion from freezing.

  • Recycle unused portion with ePaint Recycling.
